Description
WHAT: An alcohol ink painting on inkjet photo paper. The use of metallic silver ink creates an interesting texture. Dropping opaque white created circular shapes that looked to me like moons on some fantastic planet.

WHERE: Orland, California
WHY: Working with alcohol inks is a lot of fun. Using photo paper is an inexpensive way to experiment with different colors and techniques. For this piece, I dropped colors or applied them in bands and sprayed them with rubbing alcohol to move them around. The final result is always a surprise.
