Description
I found this oak leaf during a walk in early autumn. I painted the leaf first in watercolors and then added an acorn from our yard for balance. This piece won Blue Ribbons at the Silver Dollar Fair in Chico, CA in May 2013 and also at the Butte County Fair in August 2012.
