WHAT: My mother died in April 2016 and it has been hard for me to grasp that she is gone and not coming back. She is alive in memory but not on earth. I believe her soul is destined for heaven, but for us here, where do the dead go?

WHY: I was trying to create an image to express the difficulty of understanding death and loss.
