In August of 2013, I took a short vacation to Oahu, Hawaii. While staying near Waikiki Beach, I captured this shot of a sunset takeoff of a jet liner leaving the Honolulu Airport. The red sun was just about to disappear below the horizon. In the foreground are the trees around the U.S. Army Museum adjacent to Waikiki Beach.
