What: The golden light of sunset falls on a tangle of Oklahoma redbud branches in bloom against the background of a Mediterranean pepper tree, contrasting the illuminated branches with those in shadow.
Where: Orland, CA
When: February 2022
Why: It was amazing to see the differences in the color created by the fading sunlight on the sprigs of redbud blossoms and pepper tree tendrils.
