While at a wedding in August of 2013, I spied this fine specimen of an ornamental banana plant or "tree". The early evening sunlight was glancing off of it and shining through the leaves. I liked the light and darks and sculptural effect of the leaves. This plant was found in the gardens of Casa Grande in New Almaden, California.
