WHAT: Opposite the setting sun, the waxing moon peaks between the bare branches of a dogwood tree. A slight bit of pink from the sunset is visible in the thin cirrus layer.
WHEN: November 29, 2017
WHERE: Paradise, California
WHY: I was taking photos of the sunset, when looking behind me, I spotted the moon rising and thought this would make a nice shot.
