Here is a delightful view from the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, a freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains bordering California and Nevada. The lake is at 6225 feet elevation. A late spring snow has dusted the mountaintops. This photo was taken in the afternoon at the end of April in 2014.
