WHAT: In the late light of evening, I saw a single California black oak leaf caught in the sun with an interesting shadow and negative spaces caused by bugs that ate parts of the leaf. I found it was almost a zen-like composition and captured it.
WHEN: October 9, 2016
WHERE: Bille Park, Paradise, California
WHY: Fall is my favorite season, and I was looking for early evidence of fall among the natural features of Bille Park.
