In fall of 2013, I took this photo of a what was left of the seasonal stream after a hot summer. The little brooklet reflected the afternoon light, while the rocky banks featured a variety of small plants. This scene was captured in Bille Park in Paradise, California in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
