On Veterans Day, November 11th, 2013, I took this shot of the display of American flags at the VFW Hall in Paradise, California in late afternoon light. A row of the flags from the Parade of Flags, which are placed along a couple of the main roads on patriotic holidays, can be seen in the background. As I left, men were preparing to take down the display of flags before sunset. A beautiful Veterans Day is done.
