Southern Pacific Cab Forward Railroad Engine No 4294
Photograph - Photography
On a May 2014 visit to the California State Railroad Museum, in Sacramento, California, I took this photo of Southern Pacific Railroad Engine No. 4294 on display there. This engine was used from 1944 to 1956 in California and Nevada to haul both freight and passenger cars. It is the last of its type of engine in existence.
