Description
A closer view of the ridge in Butte Creek Canyon is visible near the canyon's edge. The far wall of the canyon is visible behind the center canyon ridge. One can see rock formations and shelves formed by the erosion caused by Butte Creek and time. Oaks, pines and bay laurel are the main vegetation along the canyon. This view was captured in the afternoon in late February, 2014, in Paradise, California.
