What: Starlings are perched at the top of a nearly bare autumn tree and seem to be contemplating the daytime crescent moon. The sky has uplifts of gauze-like cirrus clouds.

Where: Orland, CA
Why: I liked the conjunction of the starling birds and the moon, and the cirrus cloud background.
