While on a short holiday to Oahu, Hawaii, in August 2013, I took a tour of the southeast shoreline of the island. We made a stop at the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve for photos and I took this shot of the Hanauma Bay beach from above through the branches of a monkeypod tree. The clear bay water is a beautiful shade of blue. This is a favorite destination for snorkelers and very close to Honolulu. The time was early evening.
