Description
When I visited Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park in late spring of 2010, there had been a recent snow and the lake was still frozen. I took a photo of this lovely scene but was never able to print it. So I decided to paint it instead. This is the result. I became quite a friend to pine needles and pine trees in the process. This watercolor was completed in May 2014. It won a first place Blue Ribbon at the Silver Dollar Fair in Chico, California.
