Description
WHAT: This is a colored pencil drawing of a chocolate coconut-covered ganache cake with shaved white chocolate on the center top and strawberries around the pile of white chocolate. The sides and part of the top are covered with coconut that has been mixed with dark chocolate. The confection sits on a paper doily.

WHERE: Paradise, California
WHY: Our February Paradise Art Center gallery exhibit has the theme of chocolate, so I thought I'd try a chocolate-themed artwork. I had a photo of various desserts in a case at a French bistro in Carmel, California, and picked this one to render in colored pencils. Are you hungry yet?
