WHAT: As the sun was going down, it struck and highlighted the branches of the aspen trees in our front yard against the darker trees. Making the photo a black and white image gave it a more abstract quality. The leaf buds are visible on the branches in this very early spring capture.
WHEN: 3-22-18
WHERE: Paradise, California
WHY: I had been struck by the branches highlighted by the setting sun and thought I'd try a shot to see what it would look like.
