I did this work for the April 2013 Abstractions show at the Paradise Art Center in March 2013. I started with overlapping layers of colored tissue moving them on top of a layer of archival glue. Then I added fingerpaints, pastels and finished with the acrylic accents.

Thank you so much, Shannan, for your kind compliment and vote! I used an archival glue I bought on eBay, put plenty of it on the canvas and moved and scrunched the tissue paper over the layer of wet glue. I liked the accidental quality of it. I enjoyed looking at the artwork on your page. I was especially impressed with your painting "Worlds Wait" and all the interesting things going on in the body of the figure. I'll look forward to seeing your tissue work.
