Artist's Description
This is a digitally enhanced drawing of an altered statue of Ardhanarishvara, an aspect of the Hindu god, Shiva. In this aspect both the male and female aspects of this god are represented, the female on your right and the male on your left. I have exchanged the multiple faces of the god with my face and my father's face. This is inspired by the male-female aspects of ones personality in Jungian psychology. The original drawing is for sale on a black background only.
