Description
It is the fading light of the evening that touches the sheer granite rock above Yosemite Falls. The spring melt off of snow has produced a vigorous cascade of water falling in the two tiers of the upper and lower Falls. This shot was taken in Yosemite National Park, California, on the last day of April 2014. Among the evergreens are the white blossoms of a dogwood tree.
