Description
The sun will soon be setting and the golden rays of the evening sun glance across the landscape next to Butte Creek Canyon. In the foreground is the canyon edge with foliage of California bay laurels and black oak. A wooded ridge or prominence rises in the center of the canyon. In the distance is the opposite edge of the canyon. This view always fills me with peace. This photo was taken in late October 2013 in Paradise, CA.
